About Us
The group was formed in 2005 to begin the tackle the increasing amount of weeds that were growing along the coastal reserve in the Rose Bay area, especially in the reserve area between the bike track and the water and on the Rose Bay side of the Tasman Bridge.
We have lots of garden escapees plus weeds like blackberry, boxthorn, Boneseed and Fennel - mostly reasonably under control now, but still needing fairly regular weeding.
We also do native revegetation where needed and have relocated a foreshore access path from an area where it was eroding.
We are meeting mainly in the Spring and Autumn months and as needed for the rest of the year.
