Eco-Friendly Product

An eco-friendly product is supposedly one that doesn't contain any chemicals that could prove harmful to the environment. For example, a hairspray that doesn't use chlorofluorocarbons could be called "eco-friendly". Eco-friendly can also refer to the method of manufacturing or growing of the product.

For example: cotton is a crop that when commercially grown requires many pesticides. Organic cotton is thus considered eco-friendly because its production doesn't require the same amount of pesticides to be dumped into the environment. Always research "eco-friendly" products because there are no guidelines to the label, anyone can use it.
