Ecology
The science of ecology is to study the life an organism and how in interacts with the world and other life forms around it. Ecology is a multi-disciplinary science drawing on many other studies, from biology to geology to genetics and chemistry.
Ecologists study the big picture rather than one small part, the difference between studying a honey bees genes and studying what happens to local flora if honey bees die out. Ecologists are also deeply interested in biodiversity and environmentalism. There are many branches of ecology, from behavioral to political to evolutionary ecology.
