Environmental Skepticism
Environmental skeptics are those people who are in doubt as to the validity of claims that Earth is facing serious environmental problems such as global warming and sustainability issues. The term was coined after Bjorn Lomborg came out with his book The Skeptical Environmentalist, where he concluded that claims made by environmentalists were often overstated.
Critics of such skeptics often call the movement "environmental denialism". A recent study of environmentally skeptical books has recently found that the majority of the authors were affiliated with conservative think tank organizations.
