How to become a member

Click here to Sign Up. It only takes a few moments to complete the registration form and click ‘Submit.' 

 

How to complete your Publisher Profile

1.       Become a member

2.       Log In to your account

3.       Click on Publisher Profile

4.       Click on 'Edit Publisher Profile' on the grey navigational bar

5.       Complete the profile submission form and click ‘Submit'

 

Individuals

Tell the world about yourself, about your green passion or developing interest. Why did you join SuperGreenMe? Tell us about your goals to learn, participate or create awareness for a project or passion of yours.

Authors - Take advantage of this profile to tell the world about your abilities, experience, interests, specialities, credentials.

Include a link to your site - Generate traffic and credibility to any site by including it in the web link section of the profile.

Organisations, National Parks & Community Groups

Use this profile to show the personal side of your organisation, and to communicate to the community why you want to join and/or participate on SuperGreenMe.

Businesses

Only available to businesses who are listed as a premium member in the Directory.

 

Upload Images or text first?

In order to include an image in your articles or profiles, you will need to Upload an Image to SuperGreenMe first. From there you can attach it to which ever article you please.

If you submit the text of your article first, that's ok as well! Submit the article to save it, then go back to Publisher Profile to Upload the Image. After you upload the image, you can now attach it to your earlier saved article. Click My Articles, edit the earlier submitted article, select the image, then click ‘Submit'.

 

How to upload an image

1.       Become a member

2.       Log In to your account

3.       Click on Publisher Profile

4.       Click on Upload Images on the grey navigational bar

5.       Click on ‘Add Image'

6.       Click on ‘Browse' and select the image you want to upload

7.       Type in a caption for your image.

 

Folders [Managing Images]

If you are uploading many images, you can create folders which will help you keep them organised. To create a folder for the first time, just type the name of the folder into the New Folder input box.

 

How to submit an article, tip, profile, issue overview

1.       Become a member

2.       Log In to your account

3.       Click on Submit an Article

4.       Select the type of article you want to share with the SuperGreenMe community

5.       Complete the submission form. Not all sections are mandatory, however, the more complete your article/profile is:

a.       The more attention and visitors your article will get

b.      The more value it will add to the community, and

c.       The more positive change you will generate in the world!

 

Submitting Articles

Several pre-defined formats are available for you to submit your articles. This approach:

  • Assists to structure your writing and present information,
  • And creates a familiar format for the SuperGreenMe community.

If you prefer not to have such a structured approach, the best strategy is to chose the ‘News' submit form which allows you to apply your own writing style to your articles.

 

Adding some flare and pizzazz to your article/profile

Photos - you can add up to 5 photos to each article/profile

Web links - you can add up to 5 hyperlinks to the bottom of your

YouTube Videos - the videos are fed form Youtube automatically. The first tag/keyword dictates which videos are presented. If you want to see which videos will be shown before you submit the article, go to Youtube.com and search using your primary keyword. The first 6 videos shown will be the one which appear at the bottom of your article. To get the best video results, try several different keyword searches on Youtube until you are getting the most relevant results.

 

The following describes the different type of article formats available to you

1. Tip / Hint - This submission form is used to publish Tips and Hints on how to ‘go green' and live more sustainably. Its format outlines:

  • the problem it addresses,
  • the solution (how to make a change to live more sustainably),
  • the effect/impact it can have to the problem, and
  • facts which support and highlight the problem.

2. National Park Profile - This submission form is used to publish an online profile for your favourite National Park. It allows you to include photos, video, highlights, resident animals and conservation projects.

3. Organization Profile - This submission form is used to publish an online profile for your favourite Environmental Organisation/Foundation.

4. How to / Tutorial - Use this article format to publish ‘How to' tutorials which will educate readers.

5. Research/Thesis/Survey - This format can be used to publish academic/research information. E.g. feel free to publish research, your thesis or the results of a survey you have done. This way you can disseminate your knowledge and retain recognition and credit for your work.

6. News - This is the most flexible submission form. The main input box allows you to create your own structure using whatever headings and sub headings you like.

7. Product Review - This submission form is used to publish a review on green

8. Endangered species - This submission form allows you to publish profiles on endangered plants and animals.

9. Extinct Species - This submission form allows publish profiles on extinct plants and animals.

10. Issue Overview - This submission form allows you to create awareness for your chosen issue and present an structured and educational overview.

 

How to introduce a friend

1.       Become a member

2.       Log In to your account

3.       Click on Publisher Profile

4.       Click on ‘Other Activity' in the grey navigation bar, then select Introduce a Friend

5.       Insert your friends email address, and a message to your friend, then click ‘Submit'

 

How to Rate an article

1.       Become a member

2.       Log In to your account

3.       Go to the article you want to rate (use the search engine if you don't know location)

4.       Go to the ‘Comments' section at the bottom of the article where you will see ‘Rate this article'

5.       Click on the number of stars you feel the article deserves (1 is lowest, 5 is highest)

6.       Click on the ‘Submit' button

 

How to leave a comment

1.       Become a member

2.       Log In to your account

3.       Go to the article you want to rate (use the search engine if you don't know location)

4.       Go to the ‘Comments' section at the bottom of the article where you will see ‘Your comment' input box

5.       Enter your comment into the input box

6.       Click on the ‘Submit' button
