Organic Food
Organic food is grown without the use of pesticides, artificial fertilizers, or human waste sludge. It is also grown and sold without ionizing radiation and food additives. Livestock grown organically is not given growth hormones or antibiotics. In Europe, the US, Japan, and many other countries there are criteria which must be met in order for food to be labeled "organic".
Growing concerns over the consequences of pesticides, genetic tampering, and food additives have lead to an increase in organic food growth of about 20% per year. As of today organic food accounts for 1-2% of food sold, but that could increase to 10-50% depending on circumstances such as price, supply, and demand.

Eat organic.
