Sustainable Habitat

A sustainable habitat is one in which no waste is produced and no resources are depleted, thus the environment can continue to sustain life indefinitely. This type of environment can evolve naturally, or it can be created by man.

Man-made sustainable habitats often bring together many different species from different eco-systems in order to fulfill different roles in the new eco-system. The goal in a sustainable habitat is to make sure that one species waste ends up being the energy or food source for another species. One of the key elements to a sustainable habitat is biodiversity.
